WINDOWS 95/98//ME/NT/2000/XP/VISTA (32 bit)

This full 32 bit version represents the latest effort towards total customer satisfaction from Jay Klein Productions. This release brings the Macintosh and Windows products together.

This self-expanding file can be used for trial users and previous owners alike.

First time "trial" users will be able to fully evaluate our product before making a "purchase" decision. When purchasing, a simple phone call to Jay Klein Productions will turn your Windows trial version into a registered version. The trial version does not save data, but will load, display, and print a sample class. You can create classes to test the program, but cannot save the class data.

Previously registered "tailored" users can use the downloaded file for immediate upgrade thereby remaining current with our latest version. To obtain the "tailored" key file, send an e-mail to our e-mail support site (see "Contacting" above) with (1) your name, (2) YOUR NAME AS YOU WISH IT TO PRINT ON REPORTS, and (3) your school name. Include your Making the Grade (Windows) HAND WRITTEN serial number (on the back of disk one or three, or your authorization code, CD serial number, or reason to change the name.

Automatic datafile upgrade note: Version 10.0e and later automatically updates your old data files to the new format, so all of your computers must be updated after upgrading to version 10.0e or later.

Special Administrator's Note: Our 32 bit (Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista) product supports network installs.

Step 1:

Download the latest executable MTG101d.exe here  (3.65 MB). NOTE: Version 10.0e and later significantly expand the MTG class file structure, so you must upgrade ALL copies of the program you use.

Additional Steps:

Step 2. Double-click the downloaded MTG file on your desktop. That's All. (Don't unzip the file prior to double-clicking it ... that process will be handled automatically in the next step.) Step 3. Once you've double-clicked the downloaded file, an "unzip window" will appear. Click the top "Unzip" button there. Step 4. An automatic installer will then launch, and all you have to do in that sequence is click a whole bunch of "Next" (and "Single User Install") buttons. Step 5. Once the MTG folder has been created (probably on your C: drive), move your authorization key ("mtg_reg.mrf") into that folder, if it isn't already there, of course. That's all there is to it. Double-click the shortcut icon on your desktop now and you're all set to go!

(NOTE: For Password entries, simply press the "Enter" key without entering any password.)
